Information
Who makes the city is a peripatetic platform and growing resource in which we address questions around what the city is, who it is made by, how it is made, and for whom it exists.
This is an episodic platform, with each episode consisting of short commissioned videos introducing the frameworks of international thinkers, practitioners, and activists as provocations for an in-situ public conversation dealing with the specificities of urbanism in different cities.
The first episode: Belfast, was commissioned within the public programming of Golden Thread Gallery, Belfast, Northern Ireland alongside not only the earth we share a film exhibition by artist Sol Archer and Household CIC, in collaboration with communities of Sailortown Belfast.
Who Makes The City is managed in collaboration with a changing network of hosts and partners.
